What Knoxville homeowners ask before they order ADT
Knox 911 registration is $0 a year with zero false alarms. Confirm your ZIP. Monitoring is separate from that paperwork.
How do I order ADT in Knoxville?
Call (865) 500-6003. A specialist designs the system. SafeStreets installs. ADT monitors 24/7. No contact form.
How much is ADT in Knoxville?
Promotional packages start at $53.99/mo for ADT Secure+, then Smart+ $63.99 (most popular), and Complete+ $74.99, with a $99 install on many plans. Ask about the free alarm-system promo ($850 value) on qualifying monitoring*. A new monitoring agreement is required — typically 36 months. Early termination fees apply. Homeowners only.
Do I need an alarm permit in Knoxville?
Inside the City of Knoxville, register the system with Knox 911 under the False Alarm Ordinance. There is no invented “user permit” dollar amount just to have an alarm. The annual registration is $0 with zero false alarms, then $10 / $20 / $30 by false-alarm history. Outside city limits, Knox 911 registration is voluntary. Farragut, Oak Ridge, Maryville, Alcoa, and other independent cities: we name that office from your ZIP. We do not invent their fees.
There is a leftover keypad on the wall. Now what?
Photograph it before you pull it off the wall. Many Knoxville, Farragut, and Hardin Valley resales still have a panel. We can often turn ADT back on instead of starting over. Builder leftover keypads are usually not ADT — those get replaced.
Does monitoring work when KUB or the internet is out?
Yes. The system can still reach ADT if Knoxville Utilities Board power or the Wi-Fi is down. KUB is the local utility; TVA is wholesale. That matters during a summer storm, an ice night, or the hours after a wind event — not after the lights go out.
Are you ADT corporate?
No. SafeStreets is an independent ADT Authorized Provider. SafeStreets sells and installs. ADT provides 24/7 professional monitoring after activation. Home Security Systems Knoxville is the local order line.
Do you install around UT football or Smokies games?
Yes, when the calendar is open. Neyland Saturdays and Smokies nights at Covenant Health Park empty houses. That is a monitoring problem. Promotional offers are for homeowners, not short-term rentals. Say so on the call.
Do you cover Oak Ridge and Maryville from this line?
Yes. One Knoxville order line for the 19-ZIP TN – Knoxville map, including Oak Ridge, Clinton, Maryville, Alcoa, Louisville TN, Lenoir City, Loudon, Seymour, and Sevierville. We do not mill Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Confirm the ZIP. Same-day or next-day is typical.
