Knox County drop-off empties the house. That is when monitoring starts.
Living in Knoxville does not mean one school system. Families relocating here miss that first. They call us second, once the house will sit empty during the school day.
Verify the district. Then monitor the empty house.
Knox County Schools covers the City of Knoxville and most of the county, including Farragut, Powell, Karns, Halls, Hardin Valley, and Bearden. Oak Ridge Schools is its own city system. Maryville City Schools and Alcoa City Schools sit in Blount County. Clinton and Anderson County are not Knox County. Loudon County Schools and Sevier County Schools are not Knoxville city hall. Verify the address — not the metro name — at the district site before you buy.
- Knox County Schools — knoxschools.org. Bearden, West, Farragut, Hardin Valley, Powell, Halls. School-day empties. Inside the City of Knoxville, file Knox 911 registration after install.
- Oak Ridge Schools — oakridgeschools.org. Independent city. Oak Ridge Police is not KPD. Confirm that office from the ZIP. We do not invent a user-permit dollar amount.
- Maryville City Schools and Alcoa City Schools — Blount County. Maryville PD and Alcoa PD are not KPD. Same ADT watch as Bearden. Different desk.
- Clinton / Anderson County — not Knox County Schools and not Knoxville city hall.
- Loudon County (Lenoir City, Loudon) and Sevier County (Seymour, Sevierville) — confirm the city or county office. We do not mill Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.
UT calendars empty nearby houses too
University of Tennessee game days and breaks empty Fort Sanders, Sequoyah Hills, and parts of Bearden on a different rhythm than K-12 drop-off. Promotional offers on this site are for homeowners. Say who keeps a key. Student-adjacent houses still need a registered, monitored system if you own the property.
We do not rank schools
Knoxville homeowners can trust a SafeStreets security system monitored by ADT. We do not rank schools. We install the system for the hours nobody is home.
