Home / How it works
Same-day or next-day in most of the TN – Knoxville map
Four steps from the 865 call to an armed Knoxville keypad
Call. Hear the price. SafeStreets installs. ADT monitors. Same-day or next-day in most of the 19-ZIP territory.
Call (865) 500-6003
A specialist asks your ZIP, whether you own the home, about how many doors and windows, and if you want cameras. Photograph a leftover keypad first.
Hear the quote
Monthly price, $99 install on many plans, 36-month agreement, the free alarm-system promo if it applies, and which city desk your ZIP uses.
Install day
A SafeStreets technician installs and tests everything, then shows you the keypad and the app. A Bearden ranch is often a couple of hours.
ADT takes over
From that point the system is monitored 24/7 — including when KUB or the Wi-Fi drops. You arm it when you leave.
What to have on the 865 call
- ZIP and city — Knoxville, Farragut, Oak Ridge, Maryville, and the rest of the map
- Whether you own the home (promotional offers are for homeowners)
- A rough door and window count, including the garage
- Cameras yes or no
- A photo of any leftover keypad
Install day, in order
The technician walks the house, confirms the openings you quoted, installs sensors, tests each one, and walks you through arm, disarm, and the app. A Fountain City one-story is often a couple of hours. A two-story in Farragut or a larger Hardin Valley lot can take longer. When the truck leaves, ADT is already watching.
Same-day or next-day in most of Knoxville, Bearden, Fountain City, and Farragut. Oak Ridge, Maryville, Lenoir City, and Sevierville are more often next-day. Always confirm with the ZIP. We do not mill Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.
After the truck leaves
Put a local contact on the call list if you travel. Ask which permit desk applies — Knox 911 inside the City of Knoxville; a different office if you sit in Farragut, Oak Ridge, Maryville, or Alcoa. Teach the household so a delivery is not a false alarm. Arm it on Neyland Saturdays.
